Entry 11 : Closure

So, it is time for me to say goodbye. I never liked writing a blog before because I do not know how to do it. But everyone around me taught me to do it and I learned from it. Thanks for all my friends when doing all the assessments.

Entry 10 : Smart Builder

Smartbuilder creates serious elearning and it is a faster application. It is a traditional elearning authoring tools that fine for tell and test content.

When i was taught about this, i had no idea whats all this thing about but what i knew about this thing, if you did not know how to do it at the beginning, you cannot proceed to the ending. I got the same problem also. Luckily i got my friends that taught me how to do the hotspot and everything. 

We got an assignment to create 1 smartbuilder and our team choose pet as our main topic. We managed to do the smartbuilder and posted it on the class blog.

Entry 9 : EXPERIENCE // ( powtoon )

My experienced during doing this thing are quite challenging. My friends and I tried to discover the actual meaning about Powtoon. We had introduced to this thing back then when we are in our diploma. But that was an options, so we can choose either we want to use Powtoon or not. But for this subject, we were compulsory to do this thing. 

For my group, I had three friends that expert in doing this thing. I had to do the script and the others edited the Powtoon.

We managed to finish this thing on time and our Powtoon is about social media. We had posted it in the class blog and hope you can enjoyed the Powtoon. Thank you.

Entry 8 : Topic 7 // Using Podcast and Digital Storytelling for Language Learning

Podcasts is a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device. It can typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.

From my understandings, we can listen to the existing podcasts in the Youtube or the place that can export it or we can create our own podcasts and using it. We also can upload it to the social media and share it with everyone.

So, i tried to do one podcast but i did not managed to do it :(

Entry 7 : Topic 6 // Instructional Courseware Design

For this week entry, I am going to make a summary about this topic which is Instuctional Courseware Design or ICD.

As we all know, ICD is a process of designing and developing instructional courses or materials that bring greater appeals, efficiency and effectiveness for learners to gain skills and knowldge. ICD is the mixture between behaviourist and constructivist learning theory.

So, i will show you on of the important thing throughout this learning. This is the example of important thing which is for Addie Model.

Entry 6 : Topic 5 // Computer Mediated Comunication

Hello people. So for this week entry, i will talk about what is computer mediated communication or CMC.

So, CMC is any form of communication or interaction between two or more people via separate computers through network connection or any communication patterns mediated through a computer :)

There are some advantages and disadvantages while learning this thing. 

For the advantages, it makes collaboration much easier and no distance barrier.

For the disadvantages, it makes lack of real human contact and problem with access to technology.

Entry 5 : Topic 4 // Search Engines

For this entry, i will talked about search engines.

What you need to know in this entry was " What is search engines and online database? " 

At here, they will introduced you about world wide web. It is the web tool that allows users to enter the keywords and find information on websites. There are four parts of search engines which is database, web-crawler, user interface and information retrieval system. 

Entry 4 : Topic 3 // Evolution of CALL

At here, there are 3 types of progression of CALL which is behaviouristic CALL, communicative CALL and integrated CALL.

The first one is behaviouristic CALL. To conclude what i understood here, this CALL was developed in 1960s. This program involved repetitive drill and practice.

The second one is communicative CALL. This call was developed between 1970s to 1980s. It is focused on the usage of language rather than grammar. It is allow student to generate their own original utterance. 

The third one is integrated CALL. This is the integration of real world materials into CALL. It is became popular with the development of high speed internet and so on.

Entry 3 : Topic 2 // Introduction to CALL

So for my third entry, i will introduce the new topic for you called CALL. 

So what you have to know for this topic is definition of CALL. CALL is Computer Assisted Language Learning which it is often preceived. It is an approach to language teaching and learning in computer. It used as an aid to the presentation, reinforcement and assestment of material to be learned, usually including a substantial interactive element.

There are 4 examples of CALL which is CALL specific software, Generic Software, CMC and Web-Based Learning Programs.

no 1 : CALL Specific Software for applications and programs designed specifically to facilitate language learning for example ELT Software and games

no 2 : Generic Software for applications that designed for general purpose for example Microsoft Word

no 3 : CMC is for applications or websites designed to facilitate online communication such as instant messaging

no 4 : Web- Based Learning Programs is for applications and stuff found on the internet for example blogs and magazine.

Entry 2 : Topic 1 // Blogging

We have done for topic 1. Basically, things that I understand about this topic is the blog's definition and type of blogs. 

Let's begin with some information about blog.

First of all, blog is a place to update online personal journal or diary. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A place to share your thoughts and your passions. At here, you can be anything you want it to be. For my purposes, i will say that i created this blog to make summary about my lesson. When you have a blog, you are going to update everything that you want to write.

For the type of blogs, i knew that there have 4 type of blogs which is Weblog, Tutor Blog, Class Blog and Learner Blog. And i will talk about these 3 example blogs which is Weblog, Tutor Blog, and Class Blog.

So for the Weblog, it is a web site that consists of a series of entries arranged in reverse chronological order. It is often updated on frequently which with new information about particular topics.

For the Tutor blog usually this will conduct by a teacher. The teacher will upload the notes here and the students have to access the blog to see the notes. And same goes to the Class blog and learner blog, the medium where the teacher and students can connect each other.

Next is class blog. Here, it is a site that used among of class members. Teacher and students can comment at the main section. So, if the teacher needs opinions or whatsoever, the students can comment freely. We can discuss about everything here and all students and teacher can join the discussion.

so, blogs is important to let us knew information. We should learn how to do blog and update all the information there and other people can read it too :)
